Meridian, Idaho — Faith Lorraine Garrett, age 61 died peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on July 26th, 2014 after a brief struggle with cancer. Faith was born in Cecil, Maryland on March 6, 1953 to Robert V. and Dorothy J. Miller.

Faith lived in many locations as a child and had fond memories and mentioned Guam was one of her favorite locations. Faith attended schools in the Vale area and in 1971 graduated from Vale Union High School.

In 1971, Faith married Rick Garrett and had four children. During their marriage, they lived in: Canada, Vale, Oregon area, Arock and Diamond, Oregon, Grouse Creek, Utah, Burley, Idaho and finally making their home in Meridian, Idaho. Faith enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her biggest challenge was always keeping Rick in line.

Her last employer was Pro Services in Meridian, Idaho. She loved making her “specialty” ham and scalloped potatoes to take to potluck gathering with her co-workers. Faith enjoyed her work, but most importantly she thoroughly enjoyed the special friendships she had developed with her co-workers.

Faith is survived by her husband Rick Garrett, daughter Nikki Warner and her husband Bobbie Warner, son Randy Garrett and his wife Shylo, son Justin Garrett and his wife Heather, daughter Jessica Garrett and her partner Tina Kennedy. Grandchildren Riley Garrett, James Garrett, Nolan Black, Meggian O’Donahue, and many extended family members and friends.
