June 13, 1950 - October 20, 2008

Michael Brent Barlow was born in Ontario to Max and June Barlow.  After graduating from Vale High School, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints in the eastern states.  He returned to serve in the Army and trained for Special Forces during the Vietnam War.  Mike loved farming and started working on the family farm at a young age.  With his innovative mind, he dedicated much of his energy to work on natural resource conservation issues on the county, state and national levels, developing best management practices for not only his family farm but to be used across the nation.  For his efforts, he received numerous awards and recognition.  He served on several boards.  Mike was a devoted husband, loving father and great man.  Mike touched many lives with his good works and compassion for others.
