Sidney Wayne Mulvany Sr.  Aug. 7, 1946 - July 17, 2019

Sidney Wayne Mulvany Sr., 72, of Cove OR, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 11:40 p.m. in a local hospital.

Sid was born August 7, 1946 in Ontario OR, the son of Buck and Phyllis Mulvany. He was raised in Juntura, OR until 1960, when he began high school in Vale, OR and stayed with a local family, the Staley’s. In the summers, he worked for ranchers in Juntura and when he graduated in 1964, he started his employment with the railroad on the bridge crew for about a year. He was then married to Sandra McClellan and they had three beautiful children.

He worked from 1965 until retirement at Americold in Ontario, OR as a warehouseman. Then moved to Cove, OR where he spent his golden years fishing, hunting, and whittling walking sticks. He loved his children, step-children, grandchildren, and adored his great-grandchildren.

Sid is survived by his siblings; Warren (Cathy) Mulvany, Anita (Gary) Johnson, and Jeff Mulvany; his children; Sidney Jr., Suzanne, and Sam (Dustie) Mulvany; his five grandchildren; Miranda (Paul) Spivey, Sabrina and Kelsi Bourasa, Alexis and Mitchell Mulvany; and his three great-grandchildren; Evangeline, Elayna, and Elijah Spivey. Also, his step-children; Steven George and Misha Tarvin. Sid was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Nathan Johnson and Niece, Lori McClellan-Eyler.

Services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario. Condolences can be made to the family at www.lienkaemper-thomason.com.
