Vale — Michael Lee Price, 63 of Vale passed peacefully away at home on Feb. 25th 2014 from his battle with cancer. Mike was born in 1950 son of Irving Jr. and Lois Price of Vale. He attended Vale High school and worked doing farm jobs after school. Growing up Mike learned the trade of a mechanic from his father Jr. Mike put his skills to work as a all around mechanics, but his master was John Deere Tractors. He went to work for B&M Equipment in Nyssa in the 70’s where he went to school for Diesel & Hydraulics. In the early 80’s Mike built a shop in Vale where he did custom tractor work. In the early 1990’s Mike moved his shop out to his folks place to run the farm due to his father’s illness.

Mike enjoyed playing in the woods from snowmobiling with his family and friends, hunting, camping, fishing. He also raced jeeps.

Mike leaves behind his wife Heather Price of Vale a son David Price his wife Daniel of Boise, daughter Laura husband Gordon Schlenker of Boise. Dennis Thode wife Sandy of Meridian, grandchildren Nicole, Steven, Sara, David, Cody, Cally, Dustin. His Mother Loise Price of Vale and two sisters Peggy Mosso and Terry Neal, husband Gerald.  He was preceeded in death by his dad Jr. Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew him. At his request there will be no services at this time, but a celebration of his life with family and friends at a later time. Condolences may be sent to the family at Haren-Wood .com.
