Barbara,

I just found out of your passing on this website.  I was hoping to see you at the next reunion, in fact, you would have been the main reason I would attend.  I have such fun memories of us so many years ago in Seattle.  You chose to stay and i went back to Ontario to finish my sophomore year. We rarely kept in touch but the few times we did it was like the years never past us by.  I love you and you will forever be my friend.  Pat Salazar

Barbara,

Just found out from gtting Pat Salazar's post.  I am so sorry, and remember you well.  Say hi to my wife, Lesley for me and we'll all be seeing you soon (in the eternal frame of time reference).  I am so fortunate to have had you and the others in our class as classmates.  We helped form each others' lives, and many of us have kept in touch over the years.  I don't know for sure about others, but I feel there is a special bond you get with your grade school and high school classmates--growing up together, learning together, learning how to date together, supporting each othrs' ups and downs, growing from boys and girls into men and women together (OK maybe a stretch so say all of us have "grown up"--especially me)--that you don't get anywhere else in life.  Like Pat, I was hoping to see you in August, but I'll just have to wait a bit longer--unless I get there earlier than planned due to Covid-19!
