Sharon Grace Ashcraft Nott, 69, passed away at her home in Prineville, Ore., on March 12, 2015.

Sharon was born in Elgin, Ill., on April 27, 1947, to Alice Grace Reed Ashcraft and Charles Rennell Ashcraft.

She was a graduate of Vale High School Class of 1965, and was looking forward to seeing all her classmates this summer.

Sharon graduated from beauty school in Ontario and then married Harry Theodore (Ted) Nott on Jan. 13, 1968.  The couple moved to Grants Pass, Ore., where they lived until 1991, and then made their home in Prineville.

Sharon was a seamstress, avid gardener and collector of all things antique.  She passed much of her time in her sewing shop, but her true joy was working the soil in her beautiful flower garden.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ted Nott;  her three children, Kellie Nott O’Dell and her husband (Brian), Randy Nott and Kristy Nott Struck and her husband (Mitchell); five grandchildren, Brenden, Karlea, Amelia, Caleb and Riley;  five brothers and two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and one sister.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 11 am Saturday, March 28, at the Church of Christ, Prineville, Ore..
