Wayne A. Kinney – January 30, 1942 – May 5, 2016

Wayne A. Kinney, 74 of Vale passed away on May 5, 2016 at home with his Family by his side.

Wayne was born January 30, 1942 in Boise, ID to William G. Kinney and Mildred C. Poindexter Kinney.  He was raised and educated in Vale, Oregon.

Wayne served in the United States Air Force 196l-1965, where he was an airplane mechanic. He returned to Vale, OR shorty after his discharge from the United States Air Force where he lived with his wife Linda and raised his family.

He was employed by the City of Vale for 30 years where he retired and continued to reside. Wayne enjoyed being with family, fishing, hunting, and gardening.

Survivors include his wife Linda one son and daughter-in-law Allen and Marcia Bivens of Rigby, ID; three daughters and sons-in-laws, Laura and CIiff Larson of Meridian, ID, Kim and Duane Garrett of Vale, OR and Amber and Brian Bourasa of Vale, OR; one sister Roberta (Ron) Bickmore of Ontario, OR, and one brother Waldon Kinney of Ontario, OR. Wayne had 6 grand children, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

His parents and one sister, Shirley, preceded him in death.
