Vale High 1969 Reunion Postcard

I attended Willow Creek and Vale Schools through 9th Grade, then our family moved to Gold Beach, OR., where I graduated from Gold Beach High School in 1972. I attended Columbia Christian College in Portland and graduated with two BA degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies and Music, respectively. While at Columbia, I met my future wife, Cindy Baumgardner. We have been married 35 years and have two grown children, Jared and Audra Skinner. We lived in Gold Beach, Oregon for 15 years, then moved to Portland, OR in 1975. Cindy is a Licensed Speech Therapy Assistant in David Douglas Sch. Dist., and I work manufacturing chain for chainsaws at Blount Inc., in Clackamas, OR.. We are both active in our church, The Eastside church of Christ in Portland, OR. We enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hiking, fishing, and target shooting. We will not be able to attend the reunion this year, but would like to hear from former classmates who may remember me being in school with them. I hope to be able to attend a future reunion.
I retired from Blount, Inc. in 2016. Now working part-time as a Caregiver for Pegasus Social Services in Portland, OR..

I remember that in 7th and 8th grade, Joel Humphreys and I both had notes of excuse from the dances in P.E., and got to play the records the rest of the kids had to dance to. We were so thankful then that our dad's were preachers and didn't approve of dancing.
